The goal of Men & Women for Human Excellence, Inc. (MWFHE, Inc.) is to mobilize a community outreach initiative that reaches and motivates families and youth ages 7-15yrs, of the Empowerment Zone and Renewal Community Neighborhoods for the purposes of connecting them to the services and opportunities that they may not be aware of.

MWFHE, Inc. has four primary strategic objectives, which are listed below

  1. Reach and serve at-risk youth and families in a safe and structured environment.
  2. Motivate youth and adults to seek and maintain a stable and structured lifestyle as positive and productive citizens.
  3. Educate youth and adults through teaching the Twelve Principle Concept of MWFHE, Inc., as well as emphasizing the importance of academic excellence.
  4. Connect youth and families with support services available throughout the community.
Men & Women for Human Excellence, Inc. has discovered that barriers such as scarcity of positive male role models & effective academic supports outside of schools contribute to the delinquent condition of our youth, thereby affecting the entire community.

MWFHE, Inc. has also discovered that when a community responds to the delinquent condition of our youth with programs that it designs for itself, many positive things are received. They include improved academic performance, a decrease in behavioral incidents, improved school attendance, improved self-esteem and a heightened sense of community.

MWFHE, Inc. also has targeted adult males who are unemployed and re-entering society from institutions as individuals that can benefit greatly from the twelve principles. We have established an Attitude Adjustment Workshop Curriculum that is presently being conducted at CTEP job training facility at 23rd. & Allegheny Ave.
